The IMPak AMS system has some good general functionality, and has several useful accounting aspects to it. However, our largest concern with the AMS has been that it has a lot of technical glitches, and it is not user friendly from a design stand point. The ISSI team is willing to make customizations (at a cost) but they do not go through a rigorous testing phase of any new modifications. As a result, we have had issues with database modifications having a lot of bugs in the system. In addition, some basic features, like adding new fields or updating the member profile pages, must be coordinated through ISSI, instead of being done by the AMS manager in-house. However, it should be noted that IMPAK is being phased out, and the new product, Impexium does look much better than IMPak. In addition, the leadership at IMPak has always been very friendly and eager to help with AMS concerns.
