It's been almost a year and we are getting ready to celebrate our first Anniversary using Protech from 20 years as an iMIS user. More than ever, we feel strongly that selecting an AMS system that was built on Microsoft CRM was the way to go. With iMIS we had to pay for expensive customizations. With Protech, we have been able to remain "inside the box" throughout 95% of the system conversion which will make upgrading to the next level so much easier. This meant that we had to embrace change and streamline some of our association management processes. Protech trains you and hopes that you will manage your own configurations, although they will do it for you if necessary. If you don't have an in-house IT person to serve as the Protech Administrator, there is a heavy learning curve to learn how to create workflows, templates, configurations, etc. but there are plenty of training opportunities and a great Protech Users Group (PUG) to assist you.
