We have utilized Protech's AMS for our association for the past five years. We are currently using UX 2011, but will upgrading to UX 8 next year - very excited about that! We are a national association with about 15,000 members and needed a robust platform that could handle membership, certification, custom integration with our other vendors (CMS, connected community, LMS, job board, email), committee rosters, marketing automation, and more. Protech's AMS solution has been really perfect for us and our business growth. A few examples of this: - We started a second/sister association this year and Protech accommodated our needs to basically double everything in the database - from membership types to certifications, all needed to be reproduced. They worked with us to determine the best solution, one vs two databases, and when we decided on one, their team of developers and solution consultants worked to make customizations that accommodated two business entities but allowing us to use just one AMS. It was a team-approach that resulted in a fantastic outcome for us. - We have grown significantly in the last five years, and some of this can be attributed to the marketing automation opportunities available through Protech's AMS. As a marketing professional, I want to know that I have an easy and quick way to enter a lead and start a nurturing chain/workflow to that person so I can take a backseat once I've collected the name. Doing this and being able to customize dozens of series to automate our work has saved staff manual time and also worked very well to convert leads. - I can't imagine anything worse than getting the team together and realizing the players don't play well together. We have done a lot of research, and Protech plays well and integrates seamlessly with all of our vendors. That's a huge plus for us to know that they work well with other companies in the field and also are willing to have our back to support our integration needs. We do not do our own hosting, they host us on a cloud-based system, but that is the only option for us though nice to have the option. This does mean we are dependent on their servers, but rarely do we have an interruption, they are quite dependable. Our staff has mostly has a very easy time learning and utilizing the system. You'll always have those that struggle and those that are super users. Overall, it has been easy to use for staff that range in age from mid-70's to 24. That's quite an accomplishment to supply a product that can be adapted and understood across so many generations. The newest version, UX 8, is also designed to eliminate clicks and make getting places easier. I have always found it easy, but I think it will only help those that may have a harder time. I also believe it speaks highly to Protech's willingness to listen to customer feedback and make improvements. If you are an association professional searching for an AMS to meet many needs and provide customizations where necessary, I think you'd be very pleased with Protech's product.
