Our version of Minasu's AMS program is 10 years old. Unfortunately, there in nothing in the properties to tell you what version we have. It has never really been a great program. The reporting capabilities are limited in its inability to pull relevant data in one report. We currently import 3 or 4 separate reports into Excel and then manually locate the relevant data in order to get the information we require. (ie. working addresses of members: if they work at more than one location, we have to download a separate report for each address). Very time consuming process. We also have different categories for membership. Minasu's report is unreliable when pulling membership numbers by category. They are never correct. We keep track by an Excel spreadsheet to ensure accurate numbers are available. Kind of defeats the purpose of a membership database program. We have found customer service to be an issue as well over the years. Sometimes, it has taken a week or so to get a problem fixed. This is only after numerous e-mails/phone calls to their office. Usually the solution only takes a half hour or so, but it's getting them to actually fix the problem. It took three weeks just this month to get an issue resolved. Very frustrating. in fairness, our membership data requirements have grown over the past 10 years, but have found the program cannot keep up with our needs. We are currently looking at new AMS programs as we feel it is time to say "good-bye" to Minasu.
