We use NetForumPro for 3500 members and 20000+ records. The price is the same regardless of the number of records.

We use this AMS for:

  • Profile management
  • Creating and processing membership invoices
  • Event registration
  • Store purchases
  • Connecting to Higher Logic and other external services
  • Email marketing
  • Reporting

Comments on the above:

There is a LOT of information you can gather and customize with NetForumPro. However, our end users have trouble with the interface. They have trouble signing on; registering and modifying events; purchasing electronic merchandise; donating; and renewing or joining.

The reporting is not consistent or reliable. The reports for donations often listed the same donation several times and left off others, so we had to get new donation software.

The email interface is extremely difficult to use.

You can only upload 25 images max to the database for email templates, web/storefront, logo, etc.

Registering and modifying events is extremely difficult, especially for someone who is not already in our system. We do a lot of registering by hand.

Running renewals is very time consuming. Old invoices need to be manually dropped and turned into current year invoices. Members cannot drop unwanted chapters themselves, and they can also join as a new member despite having a renewal ready for them.

It does connect with outside venders fairly well and is very rarely not working. Profile changes happen immediately. It is a powerful database but it seems to have many features cobbled together that don't quite work right.
