When I came on board the former director had purchased this system without staff input. There was a lot of distrust from staff as to whether or not the data migration (that had to be done by an outside company) was correct.
I have forced staff to use the system and it's not as bad as they thought. There are limitations as with any AMS and none that are insurmountable.
The meeting registration/event platform is terrible and my members stop using it mid-stream. I think it's because the system was truly designed for individuals, but our members are organizations and it's just not seemless. The meeting registration is clunky and even Abilia uses another company for their own event registration. That's crazy in my book.
