We selected Engage because they had features that would propel our members forward and make it super-easy for them to interact with the association. Our old system was clunky and members had a hard time knowing how to navigate and use the system, so they didn't. As the ED, I couldn't figure out how to run a simple report, and I consider myself fairly tech-savvy.

The transfer of member data was--and is--the hardest part of this process. We should have planned the process better and in verifable sections, so that we wouldn't need to review the data numerous times for accuracy. We finally decded to launch the system knowing that some data had flaws. We are now in the process of cleaning up that data.

The website turned out beautifully and our members love how easy it is to use. It's bright and colorful and fits our collective personality. Our goal is to drive members to the site as well as attract potential members to the site. We like the flexibility and ease of making changes. We can get more creative with our events and compile more useful data to better serve our members.
