After an exhaustive search to replace our AMS system, we selected ClearVantage by Euclid. From that point to this day, we realize it was a very good decision. Our association is very complex in many ways, and ClearVantage was customized to accommodate everything from a complicated dues structure and voluminous member and internal entity records, to a number of unique website functions that require an interface with the AMS. Using ClearVantage permits us to give members direct interaction with the system for functions like paying dues, registering for meetings and programs, joining committees and sections and maintaining their own member records. A number of our members prefer this method and it has saved staff hours for what used to be manual tasks. A strong point for Euclid is their efficient and responsive staff. When we announced our projected launch date at the beginning of the project, a number of people we know in the business that went through an AMS change said to add anywhere from six to eight months to that date. It was a surprise to many of those people when we went live within days of the projected date. As we update the system over time we continue to find the staff to be very responsive and they are always close at meeting targeted deadlines.
