I have used AssociationAnywhere (AA) for many years and have learned SQL to help customize reports on my own.  I have defended this software and ACGI for years because the system could do anything, and ACGI is a great company that is continuously improving their product.  However, I cannot defend them on the issue of user friendliness, which has become too big of an issue and the competition on that issue is much better. AA is clunky when compared to newer AMS systems built on more upgraded cloud platforms.  Both staff and members of our association have complained about our technology being rediculously complicated so we are now searching for the same functionality we have with AA but with a lot more user-friendliness and less coding needed for customizations.  If it is out there and affordable, we will move on.
