The AMS landscape is evolving rapidly. With the ever-changing nature of technology, older comments can sometimes provide a skewed view to the person seeking feedback. Archived reviews are more than 60 months old, and aren't counted towards the average five star ratings or percent recommended.

If your association needs a basic system that will allow you to have a website fully integrated with your association database, this may be the system for you. You can send email, do simple attendee registrations, maintain group areas, take dues payments, accept donations, have blogs, forums, a job board and create custom forms. What would not be a good fit? If you need to do booth assignments and registrations; need a true accounts receivable system to track multiple exhibit payments; want to be able to print and review the setup tables for anything -- like print your store inventory setup to review; want to be able to print badges and tickets from the system; if you want to be able to interface with other systems -- you will be very disappointed. There is also not an optimized back end series of processes staff can do to quickly process dues and registrations. One big problem is that the API is subpar in being able to connect to other major services. You will find again and again that services that other AMS packages can connect to say they cannot interface with YourMembership due to their inadequate API. The other issue is that although they say that their template is responsive, we have found numerous cases where features do not work properly on mobile devices. This is even after we've vetted all the page content that we have created. We've tracked it down a number of times to the way YourMembership designs and codes the pages. They also do not share a roadmap of the product, and the updates are all over the place. There does not seem to be a clear vision and focus for the product. Communication about price increases has been very poor -- we usually only find out when we get the invoice for the next year. We've also had issues where their product has malfunctioned and corrupted data, yet they refuse to fix the data, saying they cannot do it. Additionally, bugs have been pointed out in the system, but these are "sent to the developers," with no estimated time frame for a a fix, and most never have been fixed. If your association has very basic needs that fit within the scope of what the system does, you may be happy with the system. For everyone else, be careful.
