We have used iMIS for more than 10 years. When we initially installed it, we were using a customized MS Access database. This product was very expensive for what we were getting out of it. iMIS seemed like a leap forward at the time. We like the fact that iMIS RiSE is a much more integrated platform for handling meeting registrations and allowing customers to update their data. However, it is so complex many of the features we do not use because we don't have the internal bandwidth to make the customizations. Finding staff that are proficient in Crystal Reports has become an issue as well. There is a lot to like there, but unfortunately it is so complex you need to pay for expensive consult time to make even the most modest changes. I think we will pursue something a little more straightforward.
