iMIS 15 seemed to have been a state-of-the-art system 15 years ago but with today's advancements in user interface and overall usability and functionality, the platform is quite dated. I must admit we have not done any of the upgrades so a large part of the blame is on us but I was surprised to find such an old system! I am new to the association I am now Director of Membership for and I have been sincerely frustrated by how much 'manual' work I have to go through to gather information or search through the platform to find a specific information on a member. Dues collection invoicing and payment notices are hard to generate. Reports are not intuitive and are cumbersome to create and run. I would hope version 20 would be better (and I know it's at least cloud-based, which would in and of itself be a huge improvement) but with such minimal customer service, I am now shopping for a new system that is of this decade and within budget.
