Novi is the best AMS I've worked with after 10 years with my organization. They're quick to respond to questions through a helpful chat feature and they are always making updates and improvements. They offer ample opportunity to provide feedback. It easily handles all my daily tasks. The 4/5 for customization is only that your organization might have unique needs and will have to wait for an update to have a way to address those. For example, we originally did not have an efficient way to bill dues to our members so we used a workaround. After a while, Novi made an update and now it works great!
