We have been using Raisers Edge (Blackbaud) for about 10 years. When we first implemented the database, we needed to customize its features to accommodate our organization - a membership organization. It has not grown in function and accessibility and does not easily integrate with web-based platforms. Instead, customization is needed via Blackbaud to develop web solutions that integrate. When we have had customization items completed, they 'go down' frequently when updates are made to the d/b by Blackbaud. We are going to transition to a different membership d/b this year.
