While no AMS could meet all of our needs, our current AMS feature set falls short in many areas, even in areas that should be core expectations, like data import. We could use more functionality in the areas of certifications, finance, volunteer management, ecommerce, and abstract management. To achieve the functionality to meet our needs, we had to heavily customize the system which has made upgrades problematic and expensive. After a review of other AMS vendors we recognize our current provider falls significantly short in a number of areas. Personify seems to be putting in the effort to catch up, and has wonderful staff to provide good support and give the organization strong direction, but we are at a point where we need this functionality now. As a market leader, they have a good base and lots of integration and involvement across the market and are in a good position to leverage for their future.
