I only used IMIS for a short period of time in 2012; however it was very outdated and not user friendly. We had one individual in our office was extremely proficient but the rest of us relied heavily on her knowledge to setup events and customize the database. IT was not a web based program so when we went to conferences and offsite events it was difficult to handle registrations. It usually resulted in paper registrations and processing credit cards through an outside merchant and when we returned to the office inputting the registrations manually into IMIS.
