The AMS landscape is evolving rapidly. With the ever-changing nature of technology, older comments can sometimes provide a skewed view to the person seeking feedback. Archived reviews are more than 60 months old, and aren't counted towards the average five star ratings or percent recommended.

Primary Job Function:
Operations, Administration
YourMembership has many features; not all are equally robust or meet the needs of this specific small professional association. This review is written by a daily user and the main site administrator. Our most-needed functions are membership data management, event (monthly webinars) registration, and e-commerce. Pluses: -Customer service is usually prompt and helpful -Tech support has recently added more videos, FAQs; there is an admin user group -YM seems to have put a lot effort into features that relate to social networking (integration with FaceBook, and within the YM website) Frustrations: -HTML content editor is finicky and unresponsive; there is no auto-save, so work is easily lost -Bulk email function for non-members is not robust compared to stand-alone vendors such as Constant Contact -Event registration is geared toward one-time only registration and does not readily support multiple event registrations for the same person -Site does not capture and remember non-member info entered into forms -At this time, only one of YM's website templates is responsive; the design of others (in my personal opinion) seem dated and cluttered -File uploads are tedious and slow; resource manager on the back end is slow to respond and not robust. -File libraries (used to store documents for front-end users) don't support folder organization, so functionality is limited -Interface for administrators is not intuitive -The e-commerce reporting is difficult; recording adjustments, refunds, credits, etc. is not robust -Promotional code options within the online store could offer more choices
